School Dinners

Grange Park has its own kitchen where meals are freshly cooked each day.

Grange Park is a designated Healthy School and pupils can be assured of a healthy, wholesome and well balanced diet when eating school dinners. Whenever it is available, we use fruit and vegetables organically grown on the Grange Park allotment.

We are mindful of the needs of the pupils and are developing autism friendly menus. The dining area is designed to encourage social interaction and pupils learn and practise the skills needed in a cafe or restaurant.

Our menu works on a 3 week cycle with the first week of term usually being Week 1, the second week being Week 2 and so on. There is a different menu for the Autumn, Spring and Summer Terms. The current menu can be downloaded below.

The cost of a school dinner is £2.50 a day and for a week, £12.50. Payment should be made via our online payment system School Gateway for dinner money. If your son or daughter is eligible for Free School Meals, please contact the School Office for more information.

Our cook, Mrs Hazelden, also supports Food Technology lessons and runs Family Cook sessions for pupils and their families.

Parents are invited in for Taster Days where they can sit with the pupils and taste for themselves how good the food really is!

Please Note: The menu for Term 1 in September 2020 may be amended slightly due to the Covid-19 situation.
