Outreach

What Outreach can offer

Our Outreach offers a range of services to help support autistic individuals, their families and professionals working with them.

For more information on any of these services, please email:

outreach@grangepark.kent.sch.uk

To view our upcomming training events and to book your place on a course, please visit our Eventbrite page.

Training

We offer a range of training courses for staff, which you can find in our training brochure. We are also able to provide bespoke training packages upon request.

Talks and Events

Throughout the year, we invite people who can give us insight into autism to come and talk to us and help us to improve what we do. These talks are open to school colleagues, families and carers and most of them are free.

Professionals Mornings

An opportunity for professionals to explore strategies and approaches used at Grange Park School to support learning and social aspects of school life. We will also cover admissions criteria, a tour of the school and an opportunity to hear from our pupils. Grange Park School is a NAS Advanced Status Accredited School.

Support and advice from our specialist staff

Grange Park School has many highly experienced specialist staff, who can advise mainstream colleagues on all aspects of autism and classroom practice. This service is often accessed by school SENCos, via the Local Inclusion Forum Team (LIFT).

Bespoke support for mainstream schools

We can shape a programme to support your school – please talk to us about what you need. The senior leaders in the school have vast experience in mainstream settings.

By invitation, we are currently conducting SEN reviews of mainstream schools to help develop their provision for young people with additional needs.

"I just wanted to thank you and your team again for your time and support, we found it so useful and such a help"
