Thank you to all the parents who responded to the survey regarding the quality and relevance of information and guidance received.

 

It is excellent that so many of you feel able to help your child with homework and are using the recommended resources we have been sending home – we are pleased to hear that they have helped when the homework has been a little trickier!

 

A few parents have identified that they are not receiving the homework diary. We are going to have a push on this in the new term and ensure that all students have their homework diary and are taking it to and from home each day.

 

It is great that for some parents, the level of individualisation has helped a great deal and you would like to see more of this. We will work on making homework more tailored to interests for those who find working at home more challenging.

 

I would like to take this opportunity to remind parents about our homework clubs.

 

For KS3 and KS4 they are on Tuesday lunchtimes. During this time, pupils who struggle to do homework at home can complete their homework with the help of our Grange Park team.
