Exam & Assessment Results

At Grange Park School we encourage pupils to perform to their fullest potential both as young adults and in terms of their academic achievement. For Grange Park pupils, there is a wider context of learning towards independence and the development of their social and communication skills. Academic achievement will enable pupils to access higher levels of learning both at Grange Park and in our college partnerships, Grange Park @ MKC Medway and Grange Park @ MKC Maidstone.

In Key Stage 2, children will work towards Year 4 times tables statutory assessment and Year 6 SATs. We opened our primary site in September 2019. Results will be populated once our KS2 Pupils have completed the assessments.

All pupils work towards accreditation at the end of Key Stage 4. As a school, we offer courses chosen to meet individual pupil needs and abilities; these include GCSE courses, Level 1 & 2 BTEC's, along with Functional Skills qualifications at Levels 1, 2 and Entry Level. Year on year, the numbers of pupils achieving accreditation has increased as has the range of courses offered.

Pupils at Grange Park School also have the opportunity to take their qualifications a year early in order to provide the right level of challenge.

The Government has announced that it will not publish any school or college level educational performance data based on tests, assessments or exams for 2020. This update published here clarifies what this means for the way school and college accountability will operate for 2019/20.
