To help fight the spread of coronavirus (Covid-19), the Government announced that all exams due to take place in schools and colleges in England in summer 2021 were cancelled.
The Government did not publish any school or college level educational performance data based on tests, assessments or exams for 2020. The Government also did not publish any national, regional, local or constituency statistics for any primary school assessments for the 2019 to 2020 academic year.
Academic Achievement & Exam Results
At Grange Park School we encourage pupils to perform to their fullest potential both as young adults and in terms of their academic achievement. For Grange Park pupils, there is a wider context of learning towards independence and the development of their social and communication skills. Academic achievement will enable pupils to access higher levels of learning both at Grange Park and in our college partnerships, Grange Park @ MKC Medway, Grange Park @ MKC Maidstone and Grange Park @ Hadlow.
In Key Stage 2, children will work towards Year 4 times tables statutory assessment and Year 6 SATs. We opened our primary site in September 2019. Results will be populated once our KS2 Pupils have completed the assessments.
All pupils work towards accreditation at the end of Key Stage 4. As a school, we offer courses chosen to meet individual pupil needs and abilities; these include GCSE courses, Level 1 & 2 BTEC's, along with Functional Skills qualifications at Levels 1, 2 and Entry Level. Year on year, the numbers of pupils achieving accreditation has increased as has the range of courses offered.
Pupils at Grange Park School also have the opportunity to take their qualifications a year early in order to provide the right level of challenge.
Please see the documents below for the KS4 & KS5 exam results from 2016 through till 2022.
