    Admissions

For admissions for Post 16@Grange Park, all pupils will have an Education Health Care Plan and are referred to the school for admission from Kent County Council SEN Assessment and Placement Service. There are admissions criteria for each SEN school that are applied in order to determine if a particular SEN school would be a suitable placement.

    The Transition Process

The process begins in Year 9 when we discuss transition into Post 16 in the EHCP Annual Review. Over the next two years, we work to ensure that you and your child are well informed about the different options and what needs to be done to achieve a successful transition into Post 16. In a recent visit from the National Autistic Society the transition programme was highlighted as a strength, 'Transition from School to College is planned in depth followed through with tiered and structured support once students start their course'.
