Grange Park School Celebrates Achieving Prestigious Beacon Status

Grange Park School is proud to announce that it has achieved Beacon status, a highly prestigious recognition held by only eleven provisions nationally. This exceptional achievement highlights the school’s unwavering commitment to excellence and its pupil-centred approach.

To mark this significant milestone, the school welcomed Councillor Beverly Fordham, KCC’s Cabinet Member for Education and Skills, and Nick Abrahams, Assistant Director for Education for West Kent, who joined pupils and staff in celebration. During a special assembly, Councillor Fordham spoke to the school community, praising the dedication and impact of Grange Park School.

She said:

“This Beacon Award is an exceptional achievement and one that Grange Park should be immensely proud of. It celebrates a school community that places its pupils and families at the heart of everything it does. This recognition is richly deserved and today is a moment to celebrate the dedication, expertise and care of the staff, the voices and achievements of the pupils, and the trust and partnership of families. What a great achievement, that should be recognised by the whole sector.”

Achieving Beacon status is a powerful endorsement of the hard work, professionalism and care shown every day by staff, pupils and families alike. It reflects a shared commitment to making a real difference and ensuring the very best outcomes for young people.

Congratulations to everyone at Grange Park School on this outstanding achievement.
