Pupil Voice

The Grange Park School School Council meets once a term (extra meetings can be called if something urgent comes up). Each form group elects a pupil to be on the Council and meetings are chaired by Mrs Mellor.

All pupils can put things into the suggestion box which is in the dining hall , or bring them to their class representative to be discussed at School Council meetings. Sometimes staff also put things on the agenda. Collectively, the School Council will then be able to identify any priorities and actions to be taken forward.

The Council have discussed and voted on things like school rules and where to go on activity days. They also instigated an early finish on the last day of term before Christmas.

The names and photographs of the pupils on the council are on the notice board.
