Collaborative Learning Alliance of Special Schools

Grange Park School is part of the Collaborative Learning Alliance of Special Schools (CLASS).  CLASS is a teaching school alliance consisting of 24 Special Schools in Kent and was selected to become a National Teaching School in September 2015.

The bid for Teaching School status was led by 3 of Kent’s Outstanding Special Schools on behalf of 24 Special Schools who were keen to become partners in the Alliance.

A third of the county’s special schools are rated as Outstanding by Ofsted with 22 of our schools rated as Good or better. All the schools are all members of KASS, the Kent Association of Special Schools, and the alliance looks to build on the increasing reputation of that group whilst taking a leading role in the development of special education provision in the South East and nationally.
