Academic Achievement

At Grange Park School we encourage pupils to perform to their fullest potential both as young adults and in terms of their academic achievement. For Grange Park pupils, there is a wider context of learning towards independence and the development of their social and communication skills. Academic achievement will enable pupils to access higher levels of learning both at Grange Park and in our college partnerships, Grange Park @ MKC Medway, Grange Park @ MKC Maidstone and Grange Park @ Hadlow.

All pupils work towards accreditation at the end of Key Stage 4. As a school, we offer courses chosen to meet individual pupil needs and abilities; these include GCSE courses, Level 2 BTEC, along with Functional Skills qualifications at Levels 1, 2 and Entry Level. Year on year, the numbers of pupils achieving accreditation has increased as has the range of courses offered.

Pupils at Grange Park School also have the opportunity to take their qualifications a year early in order to provide the right level of challenge.
